TT154: Model Quality Control

Learn how to easily resolve model initialisation errors, reduce output data storage requirements, and how to assess a model simulation’s health

Overview

This course aims to build your understanding of the TUFLOW engine and its various check and result files to enable you with the knowledge and skills necessary to build healthy models. This information is extremely valuable to:

  1. Increase your work efficiency during model build activities.  Attendees will learn step by step methods how to diagnose and resolve modelling errors.
  2. Build models requiring minimum output data storage needs. This is becoming an important consideration as year-on-year models become larger, are built to a finer resolution and/or projects are requiring a larger number of simulations.
  3. Assess model health and learn how to resolve identified issues.

Healthy models are happy models. They provide reliable results and run at the fastest possible speed. Building healthy models supports the delivery of trustworthy project outcomes and increases your project delivery efficiency.
